1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Petter (the “app”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Petter.

3. The service

Petter is a personal pet-management app that lets you record and organize your pets' information — profiles, photos, health records, diet, calendar reminders, and spending — and export a pet's record for your veterinarian. It also includes optional community features: sharing pets with your household, temporary sitter access, private 1-to-1 messaging, and opt-in discovery of nearby pets with swipe-based Play matching (how these handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy). Features may change as the app evolves.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@petter.pl if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Your content

The pet information and photos you add are yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content so the app can function — including displaying it to the people you choose to share it with: your household members, a sitter you invite, people you message, and — only for pets you explicitly opt in — other users viewing your pet's discovery or Play profile. You are responsible for the content you enter and confirm you have the right to use any photos you upload.

6. Not veterinary or medical advice

Petter is an organizational tool, not a source of veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Information in the app (including reminders, overdue indicators, and exported records) is for your own record-keeping and does not replace consultation with a qualified veterinarian. Always rely on your vet for your pet's health decisions. We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from reliance on the app.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering it except as permitted by law, or using it for unlawful purposes.

Where you interact with other users (messaging, household or sitter sharing, discovery and Play matching), you additionally agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse others; impersonate any person; post content in messages or in a pet's discovery/Play profile (including photos) that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes someone else's rights; use these features for unsolicited advertising or spam; or misrepresent a pet (e.g. an animal that is not yours or does not exist). You can block other users at any time (Settings → Privacy), and we may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules (section 10).

8. Availability and “as is”

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved (see the testing notice below). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for gross negligence or where mandatory consumer law applies).

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

Testing notice: Petter is currently in alpha/beta testing. It is provided for evaluation only, may change or break, and data may be reset. Do not rely on it as your sole record of important pet information during this phase.
